My hobby is gardening and I plan to plant a small kitchen garden in my house after retirement. Tucked away little gardens are coming into style as people want to live healthier and greener and as they tighten their belts because of the economy. When warm weather comes, vegetables can be tucked into our flower beds. During the rainy season, the vegetables that can be grown are cucumber, gourds, pumpkin, muskmelon, lady’s finger, turmeric, mint, chilli, bitter gourd etc.
Big pots on our deck or patio can hold a couple of tomato plants, or they can overflow with cucumbers. Pumpkins can be planted near the fence to crawl up the fence posts. Small pots and window boxes can hold our favorite herbs. Cabbage and spinach make good fall crops when most blossoms are gone and the rich, colorful leaves keep our flower beds looking green and attractive.
The vegetables should be picked when they are green and tender. The excess can be sold to the visiting ‘bhajiwala’ or one can simply benefit from the fruits of their labour, eat fresh vegetables and be proud of the fact that they created something new which is environmentally safe and pure. Watering and re-potting should be done regularly.
Manures and fungicides should also be used. With regular care the garden will show good results. Thus gardening is a great hobby and good exercise. It is also quite a thrifty way to have fresh, nutritious vegetables all the time for the least money. I can get a lot of benefits not just for myself but for my whole family.

A hobby is something that person loves to do. This is something that an individual does for his or her leisure in free time. This is necessary too. The importance of building your hobby is that, even in this fast world you are able to get time for yourself. This is really significant in order to make yourself tension free and relaxed.
Different people have different interests like listening to music, dancing, reading, painting, cooking and many more. All of you always wants to do something of your own interest but very few of you are able to. The reason is that you all have one thing in mind that what we can get from our profession, we cannot get from our hobby. And at the same time profession is something which is forced on us to earn our lively hood.
Hobby is something which we do just to feel good. Now you can enjoy while working and earning, that is you can make your hobby as your profession. The idea behind this is that while working you will never feel tired and you will be able to put hundred percent efforts. As you all know that, you all are very enthusiastic while doing something which is of your interest.
Though earning through your hobby will not make you rich. According to present climax if you are student or a house wife than this idea is great for you. Here are some ideas to make money from your hobby. Suppose your hobby is photography, than you click photographs and sell them. If you are good in cooking or dancing than you can take classes for this.
If you are a good painter, than you can display your paintings through an exhibition. If you have interest in web designing than you can design web sites for other people. These all ideas will enhance your creativity or your art and you will be able to enjoy while earning. These will also gives you experience of dealing with different kind of people which will help you in future.
